The primary reason is that we are locally owned and operated, and the goal of the members of our community-based gym is to provide help, support, and encouragement for each other. You’ll find the environment more welcoming and less intimidating.

Further, you’re getting your workouts programmed and lead by a certified coach and expert on a daily basis. Rather than walking into this gym without a plan, we’ve already written one for you and will lead you through it with the group each day!

At the end of each workout, you’ll receive a unique report card that tracks your progress. We also take snapshots of your workout every day and store them in our system. This is nice because it allows you to compare your progression from week to week so that you know when you’re making gains, and when your body may require some recovery.

A community-based group fitness gym is also better for your health than being at home physically inactive. There are many studies that have shown that individuals who exercise with others and share their thoughts are less lonely and suffer from depression less which has a direct link to physical health.

I’m Sarah! I am the owner and head coach of Nowa Nutrition. I currently work full time as a Crime Scene Technician in Wilmington. Over 10 years ago, I started my fitness and nutrition journey. Working in a stressful field, weight training became my stress relief. I’ve had my ups and downs, tried just about every diet under the sun. I’ve had to restore both my gut health and hormone balance during different times in my life. I was always curious about proper metabolic function, so I recently enrolled in a few courses to become more deeply educated in proper nutrition for optimal body functions, hormone balance, and gut health. I am certified as PN1 through Precision Nutrition, and currently working toward my Nutritional Coaching Institute Level 1 and Level 2. I also have a background in thyroid and gut health education. I have a Bachelors of Science in Forensic Science with a concentration in Biology. HOLD POLICY

Members may put their membership on freeze, for up to three calendar months per calendar year, unless Military TAD/TDY orders or job obligations. Notice of freeze must be given to Rising Tide Fitness Staff in person any time during business hours prior to the first day of the month to be frozen. Members will not be billed for frozen months. Billing will resume automatically upon end of freeze. Yearly Members will have current year extended by the number Of frozen months.

CANCELLATION POLICY

I understand that this membership agreement cannot be cancelled with the exception of: The member becomes significantly physically or mentally disabled with reasonable evidence of illness including doctor's letter. The member may also cancel if he/she moves their residence more than 30 miles away from training facility by providing proof of move (Utility bill of new address, new mortgage document, etc.). You can also pay a Cancellation fee of $250.00 to end your agreement with Rising Tide Fitness at any time to release you from this contract. Consumers Right to Cancellation: You may cancel this contract without any penalty or further obligation by providing a cancellation form in person or by certified or registered United States mail within three (3) days of the initial sign-up.
